CalAir Aviation is Los Angeless premiere Cirrus Training Center and Cirrus rental facility. Based out of Torrance Airport, we specialize explicitly in the innovative, safe, and technologically advanced Cirrus Aircraft. Flight training is offered for a variety of ratings and certificates, as well as Cirrus transition courses. Our Flight school is built on a strong foundation that knowledge is key to superior piloting skills. At the heart of our facility is a student center, compiled of several resources, teaching aides, and tools to include Los Angeless only FAA approved Cirrus specific flight simulator. Our instructional staff has years of experience in Cirrus Aircraft and has the patience and perseverance to work diligently with students on any topic, through any plateau. We invite you to come take a look and experience why CalAir is already home to many Los Angeles based Cirrus pilots. In such a business, its hard to find where you can cut back or even be that much more environmental friendly. We feel that its the little things that we can do that hopefully help carry our part. Simple things like making sure we recycle oil bottles, refreshments that out students enjoy, or even cleaning up around the airport are what weve made part of our day to day operations. With the advancement of low lead fuels or even alternate fuel sources for general aviation aircraft, were hopeful that more tools will come our way and will be glad to partake. The next best thing weve found thus far has been being able offset our consumption, which were glad to be part of.
