Mutual Aid eXchange (MAX) is a member-owned enterprise that provides insurance the way it should be; fair, faithful and socially responsible. They offer a full range of competitively priced auto, homeowners, farm, business, life and related forms of insurance in most U.S. states and five Canadian provinces. In many cases, they can match or even save you money over your current insurance.

MAX was formed in the early 2000s with a set of core beliefs that called us to be fair, faithful and socially responsible. When we learned about B Lab, we were thrilled to find a community of like-minded companies and consumers. Were proud to join the growing list of socially responsible enterprises who share our vision of building a better world through business.

MAX follows a set of socially responsible, spiritually-based core values that direct them to be:

Spiritual and seeking guidance in all they do,

Stewards of the earth and its resources,

Servants in their community, and

Compassionate to their members, members' families and communities.

MAX practices their beliefs in two primary ways. The MAX Share Fund gives emergency financial help to people facing desperate circumstances beyond what insurance can provide. MAX is a cooperative, so they report to their members not Wall Street.
