New York artisan Shellie Pomeroy carries degrees in graphic design and philosophy. She began her career as a graphic designer and head of the art department at a publishing company, then as a freelancer in identity design and marketing. As someone who is drawn to the tactile experience of creating with her hands, she longed for a career that would allow her to express herself in a more tangible way. Silk & Willow was born from this passion to create, combined with her love of design, photography, and natural color.
