Landry & Kling, Inc.
Service Provider in Miami, Florida
When cruise line veterans Joyce Landry and Jo Kling founded their business in 1982, they introduced a bold new concept: a travel company focused exclusively on meetings at sea. Early mentors told them there wasn’t enough cruise volume to warrant specialization. But they ignored the naysayers and persevered, never losing sight of their vision. With only $26,000 between them, they went on to establish Landry & Kling Inc., the first company to specialize in corporate cruise meetings and events. In 1988, Landry & Kling relocated from New York City to Miami, the Cruise Capital of the World. This move enabled Joyce, Jo, and our team to meet face-to-face with cruise line executives and operational staff, participate on cruise line advisory boards, arrange pre-con meetings, and conduct ship inspections on our clients’ behalf. Landry & Kling Global Cruise Services has grown to become the foremost specialist in planning worldwide cruise meetings, events, ship charters, and all types of floating dockside and offshore housing projects. Our diverse group of clients includes corporate and third-party meeting planners, event organizers, government entities, sports marketing companies, and production companies. Over the years, our capabilities have expanded to include specialty vessel projects such as workforce floating accommodations, military support vessels, disaster relief support, and hospital ships.
