Nampa Farmers Market
Producer in Nampa, Idaho
he Nampa Farmers Market was founded in 1989 by John and Afine Relk. They had a vision. They saw a community market which provided local food and products made by friends and neighbors. Originally, The Nampa Farm and Garden Market (as it was called then) was held in a parking lot across from the police department. That first year there were only three vendors participating and customers were few. Some would call that first year a bust. But John and Afine had a vision that was indelible. They persevered. The market continued and began to grow. Look for Animal Welfare Approved goat meat and chicken eggs from CT Biological Weed & Brush Control. Offers Animal Welfare Approved chicken eggs from Millsaps Farm at the Melheuer River Meats stand.
