Summer Celeste Porcelain Art Studio

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Porcelain painting is my specialty, however, my repertoire includes watercolor, acrylic and glass painting, fusing, and design. I enjoy creating wall murals in both porcelain-painted tile, acrylic paint, or multimedia creations using tile, stone, wood, metal, and glass.

I am inspired by the desert and love recreating the beauty of it in my art, both plant and wildlife alike. However, my designs have not limited to the desert alone. Custom design such as fancy scrolls, insect to elephants, fanciful creatures (even rubber duckies), naturalistic to geometric is just that, "custom". I design original murals and single tile art pieces after working directly with the customer or designer to create the look you are trying to achieve. Each piece is a signed original.

China painting is a fine art, (not to be confused with ceramics) using minerals that are mixed with flux (glass particles) and oils that are painted onto porcelain, glass, or glazed ceramic tile. The work is kiln-fired to be permanently bonded to the piece.

Specializing in custom design and painting on ceramic and porcelain tiles and fused diachronic glass tiles for kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, countertops, pools, patio walls, bars, and bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor acrylic wall and ceiling murals. Southwest scenes, plants, flowers, and wildlife are a specialty I love to custom paint.

My business and studio are in my home and I meet with clients here or on-site by appointment. My work can be shipped around the world from my home base in Tucson, AZ.
