Asean Corporation

Asean Corporation produces a line of BPI approved, premium high performance table top products represented by three brands. Stalkmarket, Jaya and Planet Plus. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, StalkMarket was started in 2003 to provide an environmentally and economically viable alternative to traditional single-use paper- and plastic-based products. StalkMarket began its distribution in the United States in 2003 at New Seasons Markets throughout the Portland area. StalkMarket's core line of products is made from a sugarcane fiber-based paperboard called bagasse. The material is made from upcycled sugarcane waste recovered from sugar refineries.
