Brykill Farm

Susan Eckhardt raises Animal Welfare Approved beef cattle at Brykill Farm in Gardiner, New York. The family-owned farm, just a two hour drive north from Manhattan, sits on 450 sprawling acres of organic pasture and woodland. In order to maintain healthy pastures and soil conditions, Susan rotationally grazes her Charolais cross Red Angus cattle. Allowing the herd to feed on one section of pasture before moving them to the next paddock ensures the grass has a chance to regrow and achieve its peak nutrition before the cows feed on it again
