I chose naturopathic medicine because there is no other health profession out there that has access to such a diverse toolbox for me to help people with. It is a profession I am truly passionate about and I will be continually learning and growing as a doctor and individual.

Naturopathic medicine does not just “fit” into our daily lives it IS our daily life. At least it is for me. I cannot go a day without thinking, acting, or telling the world about naturopathic medicine and what it means to help people using naturopathic medical tools.

My idea of a perfect day would be to enjoy a nice home-made healthy breakfast with my husband and then head out into the north shore mountains or Squamish for a nice long mountain bike ride rain or shine.

I am qualified – I graduated from BC’s own Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine located in New Westminster. I chose this school because I knew my education there would be personal, a priority, and that I could maximize my abilities to learn and grow a large medical network in the geographic area I love to work, live and play in. In addition I have obtained my IV certification and BC Prescription license.

I focus on my patients. However, some of my favourite areas to work in are: anything physical medicine oriented like acute injury, chronic pain, injury recovery, sports training enhancement and optimization. I utilize a lot of hands-on assessment and physical muscle work as I strongly believe it is an essential part to our overall health.
