Melanie MacIver is a naturopathic doctor and local herbalist, mother, and outdoor enthusiast. 

Dr. MacIver is a graduate of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (2005), and is additionally trained in bio-identical hormones, chelation, neural therapy, prolotherapy and homeopathy. Dr MacIver completed her LDA immunotherapy training in 2013, and uses it to treat all types of allergy, Lyme disease, and most autoimmune diseases.  She has also completed the RightSleep training with dr Stasha Gumanouk, and is now adding sleep optimization to her programs.  Dr MacIver is a guest lecturer at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr MacIver has created several wellness programs including hormone balancing for weight loss,  and fibromyalgia/ chronic fatigue recovery. Her individualized programs use nutrition, herbs, detoxification, IV’s, and other therapies to prevent and restore the body. She has done extensive research on the thyroid gland, and other hormones, and has many treatment options beyond the conventional approach. 

Dr. MacIver uses many functional lab tests including: full hormonal assessment, SIBO, heavy metals, cardiovascular risk, digestive assessment and all conventionally available lab testing.
