Alberni Environment Coalition AEC

Alberni Environment Coalition AEC is a group of concerned citizens in the Alberni Valley who have been active for the last twenty five years on issues which we have felt were a threat to environmental and human health. We meet monthly and operate on bingo revenue, membership funds and donations. We have no bias regarding race, job, gender, or political or religious orientation. We are committed to principles of democracy, non-violence and responsible stewardship of the earth's bounty. We recognize the rights of non-human species and seek solutions to resource development conflicts within the unity of human and environmental respect. We hold that our share of the resources is what our children and our children's children can afford to give us without diminishing their own options for security on this small and fragile fragment of space called home.
