Located in Vancouver, BC, Espressotec is a leading supplier of espresso equipment both locally and online. In addition to matching the best equipment to their home and commercial customers, they also service espresso machines and provide barista training. As part of their commitment to environmental sustainability, their service department recycles every copper, steel, aluminum, and brass machine part destined for disposal; almost nothing goes to the landfill. They also drive hybrid service vehicles and re-use packing materials wherever possible. Espressotec measured its first greenhouse gas (“GHG”) inventory with Climate Smart for the 2015 calendar year and developed a set of emission reduction strategies aimed at electricity, heat, transportation, waste, paper, and staff engagement.
