Coast2000 Terminals Ltd. is the leading, and largest, third-party logistics export service provider to the pulp and paper, lumber, and international steamship line (marine container) industries. Their customer base includes 10 major international forest product companies, all container steamship lines calling the Port of Vancouver, and a number of smaller, non-forest product customers. Coast2000 measured their second greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory with Climate Smart. The company developed a reduction plan to continue targeting all their emission sources – electricity, heat, transportation, waste, paper consumption, and staff engagement – through various emission reduction initiatives. Coast2000 is Climate Smart certified for 2017.
