iceberg Mechanical is a family-owned HVAC business since 1993. At a young age, Paul W. Hamel, son of Italian Immigrants Paolo and Maria Hamel grew up with a very clear understanding of hard work. Paul started his business when he was only 19 years old and built Iceberg Mechanical from scratch. He began servicing and repairing window units out of the trunk of his Father’s Bonneville in 1993. From a car’s trunk to a van, then to a pickup truck and finally, to his shop in Brooklyn. By the end of the 1990s, Iceberg Mechanical has become a premier HVAC contractor in NYC.

We take pride in being one of Mitsubishi Elite Diamond Dealers in New York City. Through hard work, we have passed the new contractor classifications with several criteria including warranty registration tracking for every system. Proudly, we have surpassed the five performance indicators – marketing, training, service, sales, and customer satisfaction.
