The name Naikoon comes from a beautiful provincial park on the northeast tip of Haida Gwaii, where we first incorporated back in 1980. In 2009 the company re-launched and started taking an avid interest in ultra green building, committing to protecting the environment that’s inspired so much more than our name. We’ve been referred to as an industry leader in sustainable construction, and work hard to live up to that title every day. The company received its highest honour yet in 2015 (and again in 2016), when it was voted Custom Homebuilder of the Year in British Columbia. In 2016 we added a couple more humbling titles to the mix: Large Volume Renovator of the year in Greater Vancouver, and a national award for Best New Home of the Year.
