Tri Clad Designs, Inc.

Tri Clad Designs Inc. was formed and incorporated in September of 1987. The 3 founding members were Dennis Banman, Ed Colles and Gordon Wright, who all had numerous years experience with a national sheet metal roofing/siding corporation, Westeel/Vicwest. In 1987, the corporation changed direction to a supply only company from supply and install. This was when the opportunity was seen by the 3 founding members to form a supply and install company called Tri Clad Designs Inc. During the transition Tri Clad performed the installation for Vicwest on many of their projects. One of the 1st and most notable was the Royal Crown Revolving Restaurant, now known as Prairie 360. This project set itself apart due to extreme height, the complexity of the roof system and the fact that the roof was installed in the dead of winter. In the early 1990's Aluminum Composite Panels were introduced to the construction market and Tri Clad became a pioneer of fabrication and installation of these panels. The manufacturing facility has since grown to approx. 13,500 sq ft, servicing Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northwestern Ontario. By utilizing the latest in CNC technology, combined with years of experience in fabrication, installation and engineering, Tri Clad is regarded as a leader within building envelope community. There have been some minor changes to the core personnel since 1987, but the knowledge, attention to detail and success is second to none in the cladding industry.
