Joe is a member of long-standing in the American Concrete Institute (ACI), International Concrete Repairs Institute (ICRI) and National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). He was elected a Fellow of ICRI in 2001 and was also elected a Fellow of ACI in 2002, the first and only Manitoban to be elected as a fellow to both respected organizations. Joe is past president of ICRI and serves on four ACI committees - #503 Polymer Adhesives, #548 Polymers in Concrete, #546 Concrete Repairs and #552 Geotechnical Grouting. Joe has provided expert opinions on concrete deterioration problems and has been accepted as an expert to testify at arbitrations as well as court hearings.
