Extractora Del Sur De Casanare S.A.S.

Extractora Sur del Casanare was founded in 2002 in the town of Villanueva, Casanare, in the Colombian east region (South America). It has a capacity of 72 tons per hour and it process about 200.000 tons per year from 15.000 hectares of palm. We self-generate all the energy needed for the operation with turbines and boilers, using the fiber, a byproduct of the process, as fuel. We have 4 presses and 2 P-15 P-9 presses, 4 sterilizers, 2 shellers. In addition of the equipment needed for an efficient process, we have nine lagoons for wastewater treating, where grease and sludge are removed ,and the water treatment plant adequate water for the process, boilers and human use.
