Mong Reththy Group (MRG) was founded by_ H.E. DR. Mong Reththy on January 1st, 1989 with seed capital of only $1,000 USD. Today, MRG is the largest agro-industrial company in Cambodia and top five in Southeast Asia. In 1997 MRICOP planted oil palm trees on 477 ha. Today it has grown to 16,000 ha and has become the largest oil palm plantation in Cambodia and the fourth largest in Southeast Asia. Joint venture between MRG and Thailand-based TCC Group. CambodiaÕs first and largest palm oil producer. As of 2014, oil palm trees have been planted on 16,000 ha with ultimate goal of reaching 30,000 ha. Exporting crude palm oil to Southeast Asia countries and EU. Received RSPO certification on August 15, 2012.
