Parkside Mansion

Denver’s Best Wedding Venue and Event Venue. Parkside Mansion was built in 1905 by Colorado Lumber Baron Charles Daniel McPhee and his business partner John J. McGinnity. Since this time it has housed PM House 2some of Colorado’s most prominent residents who lived, worked, and celebrated in the building. Charles D. McPhee, the son of Irish immigrants, moved to Denver in 1869 with his wife Angela. By the 1920s, the McPhee & McGinnity Company had become one of the leading materials suppliers within the fourteen western states. These two socially prominent and philanthropic families were listed in the Who’s Who and Social Registry in Denver for many years. As it was known throughout the years, the McPhee-McGinnity Mansion was purchased in 1981 as a social and corporate event site. A complete and thorough restoration took place adding an expansive grand ballroom allowing the mansion to host up to 300 guests. The roof-top patio above the ballroom accommodates an additional 120 guests, highlighting a backdrop of City Park and Denver’s weather in the warmer months.
