Franchetti

R. Franchetti AB was founded in 1968 by Romeo Franchetti. Our main business today is production and product development of apparel. We like to stick to one thing, and be good at it. We cover five main business areas divided into as many departments: Design, Knit & Jersey, Shirt & Blouse, Outerwear & Trousers and Underwear. The Design department ties all departments and business areas together and work constantly with product development within each department. During our 40-years in the business, we have established a strong and qualitative network of suppliers and business partners. These partners are then carefully connected with our customers in order to deliver a specific product or collection according to the customersÕ expectation. We normally source exclusively from the Far East where our network runs deep and where we reach a balanced quality/cost ratio that fulfills the demands of the larger retailers of Scandinavia. As of late we have furthered our commitment towards more well-known brands who often work a bit differently in comparison to the traditional retailers. We feel that our knowledge within product development and sourcing add to the value chain for these brands. At Franchetti we work very closely with the brand owner in order to meet their every demand in regards to design, product development and sourcing. Franchetti is a member of Textile Importers of Sweden and BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative). We work closely with environmental issues and CSR, and share our customersÕ interest in being socially responsible. We work continuously to minimize the effect on the environment.
