Auspex Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel medicines for people with movement disorders and other rare diseases, including orphan diseases, which are rare diseases that affect fewer than 200,000 people in the United States. Our pipeline includes product candidates to address unmet medical needs in hyperkinetic movement disorders, such as chorea (abnormal involuntary movements) associated with Huntington’s disease, an orphan disease, and tardive dyskinesia and Tourette syndrome, subsets of either of which may be deemed to be orphan diseases, as well as other orphan indications.
