Mographies is a woman-owned, registered Indian MSME, founded in 2011. It is an evolving visual story design studio cum story consulting micro-practice. Trained as an architect and a visual communication designer, Chitra Chandrashekhar, is the chief visual story designpreneur, MoG (mauji), and creative founder-proprietor of Mographies. She has transitioned from envisioning architectural spaces to designing visual stories for meaning-making and placemaking.
Portmanteau of 'moving graphical stories’, this micro venture is powered by the craft and art of visual storytelling, design thinking, and graphics. Every Mographies assignment/ project and intellectual contribution made towards communities of learning and practice is continuously guided by nine eco-socially informed values for wellbeing, or 'calling stories'.
Illustrative, facilitative, and performative cross-media graphical story solutions are designed to address #brandstories, #culturestories, #lifestories, #learningstories, and #mogcolabstories. So far, numerous clients, onsite and online, across cultures, geographies, functions, domains, and scales of operation, from Fortune 500 MNC’s, consultancies, private firms, non-profits, government, educational and cultural institutions to micro businesses, have been flexibly served by Mographies, both as a solopreneur and as micro consortia.
