TACount provides rapid microbiological test results for the Water, Food & Beverage, Micro-Electronics, Pharmaceutical and other industries. TACount was founded in May 2009 and joined Hutchison-Kinrot Ventures, one of the world's leading early stage incubators for water technologies. TACount "graduated" from Hutchison-Kinrot in 2010. In 2011 Hutchison Whampoa Ltd., through its Hutchison Water Division, invested in TACount and became TACount's largest shareholder. TACount's affiliation with the Hutchison Whampoa Group and Hutchison-Kinrot gives the company a strong financial base and access to strategic partners, markets and customers worldwide in addition to financial services, legal support and industry specific expertise.
