Multiple Organics

Multiple Organics is the love/brain child of Nupur Gogia and Carrianne Leung. We are recent PhD graduates of Sociology and Equity Studies at the University of Toronto. After completing our doctoral theses last summer, we were left with the option of joining the pressure-cooker world of the academe. But Carrianne had a baby and priorities quickly changed, focusing on building all aspects of healthy community for her family. Nupur continued to feel the tug of her first love – all aspects of food – and questioned if the scholarly life would give her the same satisfaction she gets from baking a really good cake. Both of us are committed to the principles of safe, accessible and nutritious food for all. After many conversations and reflection, "Plan B" was quickly put in place and Multiple Organics was born!
