Jill Hollander - Financial Connections Group, Inc.

Financial Connections is a combination of the company formerly known as Gladstone Managed Investments (GMI) and Jill Hollander's financial planning practice. GMI began in 1987 as an investment management firm utilizing no-load mutual funds. Jill joined GMI in January 1993 and began an independent financial planning practice in addition to her position at GMI in 1995. Mel Gladstone retired at the ripe young age of 80 on December 31, 1999. Jill combined financial planning and investment management into Financial Connections on January 1, 2000. Brian Pon joined Financial Connections adding tax services to the business in May 2000. We moved our main office to Corte Madera (Marin County) in June 2008. Collectively, we save 3 hours per day in commute time. We still go to Berkeley for client meetings but our operations remain in Marin. Financial Connections is a fee-only financial services company. Our mission is to: Help our clients integrate their image of the future with their financial resources. Maintain a relationship of trust as a fiduciary by promoting an open, two-way communication, leading to a plan of action in the best interest of our clients.
