Throughout my personal and professional life, I have been sensitive to environmental issues. I earned the EcoBroker Certified designation, successfully completing a unique, informative program on the energy and environmental issues affecting real estate. I joined the movement of professionals pushing the real estate market toward energy-efficient, sustainable, and healthier design/features. I understand the issues and can convey this understanding to my clients. The real estate industry is changing and to best serve my clients I wanted to understand the newest designs, technologies and environmental issues. Not only do I practice eco-friendly concepts in my self-owned business, I am continually increasing my knowledge of additional means to protect the environment, applying these concepts in my business, and conveying these concepts to others using my educational training. To further my education and knowledge of environmental issues and concerns, I joined several ecology-oriented organizations: the Green Building Institute, Greens Roofs for Healthy Cities and GreenConnected.
