I have been a realtor since 1994 working for 12 years as an exclusive buyers agent with The Home Buyers Agent. Earning national awards year after year for assisting mostly first time buyers {320 and counting}in savings over $2 Million in various categories including purchase price, mortgage rates and costs, inspection fees and insurance rates. Prior to becoming a licensed realtor I spent 26 years in the building trades first as a college painter and then acquiring a builders license to better serve the emerging needs of my customers.With this background in mind it became an additional focus to help home owners understand the intricacies of owning a home and the longer term more sustainable considerations in future expansions as needs for space emerged and their purchase. As has been amply profiled in the last few years of economic uncertainty I believe my clients now have a greater appreciation for the decision they made relative to their ability to change housing. In addition to my real estate and builders licenses I have continued my knowledge with courses in Certified Aging in Place CAP, Accredited Buyer Representative ABR, and recently the course work from the National Association of Realtors Green designation.Lastly i would like to add that I a also am a professionally trained Social Worker having graduated with a BS from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1976. I believe all of my experiences are important in my approach to stewarding buyers and sellers through the joys and tribulations of purchasing or selling a home.
