There are over 80 Million homes in the USofA that were built prior to 1975 and they tend to waste tons of energy, water, and your money. Not to mention, they are harder to heat and cool, creating uncomfortable living conditions, and can have air quality that is 75% more unhealthy than outdoors. I have a passion to see every single one of these homes updated to meet the quality of life standards of today. And, I have a curiosity as to what the holdup is in the implementation of such projects from the average homeowner. It is my belief that once the prohibitive upfront out-of-pocket costs are removed, we can all have the opportunity to save resources....and I've found the recipe. Each individual home may not save much alone, but when we act collectively, real and noticeable evolutions will occur. Enough with the soapbox. I was born and raised in Texas and found my way to Fort Collins in 2002. This stellar relocation was inspired by a love for the mountains created in Steamboat Springs at an outdoor adventure summer camp named Poulter Colorado Camps. As a Colorado resident for more than a decade, I continue enjoy all sports that involve playing in the mountains both solo, and with my amazing family and friends. Whether its a climbing trip, frisbee golf, a beautiful hike, full moon snowshoeing or paddling on the river, you can sign me up for the adventure. I was married in July of 2011 to my best friend, Angela, and inherited my first child (aka "bonus-son"), Sorin, at the same time. My first "bio" baby, Brooklyn Grace, was born 360 days later. My conservative parents appreciated the easy math. I look forward to earning your trust and helping your family as if it was my own, all-the-while having FUN!
