For over 33 years, I have been involved with the "green" or environmental movement. I belong to the International Solar Energy Society, the American Solar Energy Society, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, and the New York Solar Energy Society. In a "previous life," while working for the German American Chamber of Commerce, I organized bi-lateral conferences on wind and solar energy, alternative fuels (bio-diesel) and sustainable architecture.
