For several decades the Wegewijs family has run this business with love and passion for the customers and the products. Our vision is to build a long lasting relationship with our customers based on excellent service and high quality products. Due to the flexible character of the company we can deliver our products in bulk, retail packaging and private label. The Petrovitch company was founded in 1903 in the centre of Amsterdam. The company was specialized in producing several Pte de Fruits and Nougat products. After years of manufacturing in the centre of Amsterdam, Petrovitch had to move the production facilities to right outside the city centre. Since the early 70 the Petrovitch company has been in the hands of the Wegewijs family. Under the direction of previous owner Florus Wegewijs, Petrovitch has expanded the assortment and started distributing throughout Europe. Ever since Petrovitch has conquered a strong position in the European confectionery industry.
