InterAmerican Coffee

We established InterAmerican Coffee in 1983 in order to supply the finest green coffees to roasters in North America. The 1980?s were a very exciting time in US coffee history. Consumers were discovering unique coffees selected and roasted in small batches by pioneers of the specialty coffee movement. The Specialty Coffee Association was formed and we expanded our inventory to accommodate the increasing demand for premium quality coffees. The 1990?s brought an even greater demand for top-quality coffees including rare and estate-grown selections. It was during this time that we joined the Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, giving us access to an even greater variety of products and resources to help us meet the needs of discerning coffee roasters throughout the US and Canada. Sustainability gained strength in the late 90?s and into the new millennium. So in 2008 we acquired Elan Organic Coffees, a pioneer in organic green coffee, as our sustainable brand.
