At Black Coffee Roasting Co. our day is centered around the great coffee experience. We are obsessed with finding the perfect cup every day, in many various forms. A great cup of coffee has the ability to change the pathway of a persons day. A great cup of coffee is as important as a good compass and map. We want to offer that cup, that solace, that experience. Coffee is a crop. It is a different creature depending on where it is grown. As different as people can be, coffee can be. Its like wine, and changes from season to season, year to year. Roasting coffee is a responsibility we take seriously, as these beans took years to get to the point where we roast and you consume. In the life of a bean, the roast is the beginning of the final act. Its been cultivated, cropped, grown, intertwined along the way with families, other plants and animals. After years of cultivation the coffee bush is finally ready to produce coffee cherries, which after harvest are laboriously tended to.
