Gila River Ranch

We raise Angus cattle, Suffolk sheep, Boer goats, and heritage poultry breeds on our ranch in southwest New Mexico. Our cattle, sheep and goats are never fed grains, treated with antibiotics, or given any growth hormones; our chickens and turkeys freely roam the pastures and are fed organic whole grains. Our irrigated pasture is never treated with chemicals; we use sheep, goats and hand pulling for weed control. We sell individually packaged cuts, quarters, sides and whole beef and lamb, with plans to add pork in 2013. Goats, chickens and turkeys are sold only as whole. Our products are sold at our River Ranch Market (opening mid-February 2013) and the Silver City Food Coop, both in Silver City and at Mountain View Market in Las Cruces, NM.
