Lions Gate Marina, Ltd.

Lions Gate Marina Ltd. is the newest marina facility in North Vancouver and features the first Sea-Lift in Canada for easy boat haul-out. Their friendly, professional North Vancouver boatyard offers many boat storage options (including dry boat storage) at competitive rates. They measured their greenhouse gas footprint for their first fiscal year of operation (2011). They are working to reduce their emissions by fully retrofitting their lights, reducing idling of their forklifts, implementing a turn it off campaign in the unused warehouse spaces, looking into the installation of programmable thermostats, investigating the use of biodiesel for their Sea-Lift, providing a wood waste bin on site to divert it from the landfill and expanding their recycling facilities to accept almost all waste that is brought on site.
