When Kat and David first met, they discovered their shared passions for two things above all else: travel and food. Back from their trips, they’d swap stories about the most memorable meals they experienced abroad. They’d fantasize about recreating their favorite dishes at home in the US. But amidst this reverie, they grew frustrated with the limited availability of the foods they had discovered abroad upon their return home to the US.

Thus was born Try The World: a ticket to the foods and cultures of the world delivered to your doorstep. It would be the perfect way to experience the world through food without boarding a plane—or paying for the ticket.
