Established in 2006 as a renewable Independent independent producer (IPP), Ciel et Terre is has been fully devoted to floating PV solar since 2011. The company pioneered the first specific and industrialized system Ð named Hydrelio© Ð to make solar panels float on water, with criteria such as cost-effectiveness, safety, longevity, resistance to winds and waves, simplicity, drinking water compliance and optimized electrical yield. Today, Ciel et Terre is manufacturing its Hydrelio© system in 7 countries: Japan, Korea, China, UK, France, Brazil and the United States. With a track record of more than 40 MWp PV power plants using the Hydrelio© system already connected to the grid, Ciel et Terre is expanding with a portfolio with a portfolio of 100 MWp of floating solar arrays to be installed in 2016.
