Fabris & Watts (2015), Ltd.

The Fabris Milano Group Ltd was formed in 2003 as a joint venture between two Manitoba Tile companies; Fabris & Watts Limited and Milano Tile. Through the transition, the long term and experienced Fabris & Watts staff were retained. The Fabris Milano Group Ltd is very proud of their history and reputation. Our roots go back to 1925 to when the company was founded by the Fabris Family. The 1950's saw Valentine Fabris and Dick Marinelli become partners and renamed the company Fabris & Marinelli Limited. Marinelli retired in 1963, and Ralph Watts joined Valentine to form Fabris & Watts Limited. Val retired shortly thereafter. 1976 saw Rick Watts join the company and in 1987 he succeeded his father Ralph as president, a position he holds to this day. Fabris & Watts has been honored by both The Terrazzo, Tile and Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC) and the Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA) for their long history and commitment to the construction industry, more specially the Tile and Terrazzo trade. 1992 saw the WCA present Rick Watts with a plaque commemorating the company's 67 year of operations. As well, in 2000 the TTMAC presented Watts with a plaque honoring Fabris and Watts as being one of the 5 oldest Tile and Terrazzo Companies in Canada.
