Golden Lotus Ayurveda

Golden Lotus Ayurveda was established in 2006 in Golden, BC, by C. Scott Ryan and Dalia Yanai, who met and fell in love at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM. Golden Lotus is a Yoga Studio and an Ayurvedic Clinic. Ayurveda is a the traditional healing system of India, and a "sister science" to Yoga. Scott Ryan is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Instructor, as well as a Chartered Herbalist. He was an English and Philosophy Major at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where he completed two years. He has been studying Ayurveda and Yoga extensively since 1997, and most recently completed the Gurukula program with his beloved teacher, Dr. Vasant Lad, in Pune, India . Scott is deeply committed to the principles of the traditional practice of Yoga and Ayurveda. His articles have appeared in Parabola Magazine and Light on Ayurveda Journal Ð A peer reviewed Ayurvedic Medical Journal, he also writes Ayurvedic Columns for several on-line magazines. Scott is also the author of several Ayurvedic e-books (find them on our Resources page). Scott is a member of NAMA, and is the Co-founder and Director of Golden Lotus Ayurveda, and he offers Ayurvedic Consultations, Marma therapy, Shirodhara, Abhyanga, Yoga classes and Ayurvedic education.
