The GBK Partnership, LLC was founded in 1993 by three faculty members of University of Oklahoma initially to provide training and technology services through the University`s Institute for Environmental Management. Since then, driven by leaders with bold vision and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the company has completed over 450 federal contracts, and provided its services in 16 countries. Even with our extensive project history, GBK remains a privately-owned, small business. Our core values, not necessarily growth, drive our strategic planning: transparency in decision-making, personal responsibility and accountability, and leadership by example. GBK provides a full range of environmental assessment, site investigation and consulting services. Our abilities range from Phase I surveys to sample plan design to on-site evaluations of potential environmental, occupational health and safety risks and compliance aspects. GBK will apply established industry procedures to provide cost-effective solutions, reducing analytical costs and optimizing project turnaround time. For over fifteen years GBK's EMS Group has worked not only to develop a comprehensive understanding of international environmental, health and safety management system standards (such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001), but to concentrate on their application to existing management schemes. The EMS Group has assisted organizations ranging from the Malaysian government to the US Army in implementing compliant systems.
