John grew up in Colorado, the last of 6 children, the son of a mortgage broker father and a real estate broker mother. So, its kind of like real estate is in his blood. However, he moved professionally into the high-tech world. When he was 25 he moved to Alabama and worked on the Star Wars missile project for a while. After 10 years in Alabama, he and David made the move to the Big Island of Hawaii, which he absolutely loves. He also feels weird writing about himself in the third-person, like now.
