I was born and raised in the ever changing city of Bakersfield. After 25 years as a real estate investor, I decided to become a Realtor. Prior to obtaining my real estate license, I worked at a local utility company for many years. I always took notice of the consumption of energy usage. The indoor air quality, monthly energy usage, and maintenance cost of energy efficient homes was always less than traditionally or conventionally built homes. Working in the energy conservation field helped me make the decision of becoming an EcoBroker/Realtor. I received my real estate license in 2005. Besides having completed my EcoBroker Certification, I hold the following designations: BPOR, E-Pro, GRI, and Short Sale Specialist. In 2006, I was nominated as Kern County's Favorite Real Estate Agent for in 2006. I received my B. A. in Business Administration from Ashford University (Magna Cum Laude) in 2011. I received my Master's Degree in Organization Management from Ashford University (Summa Cum Laude) in 2013. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership (2nd year). My dissertation is focused on Obstacles That Inhibit Low-to-Moderate Income Home Buyers Who Cannot Afford Energy Efficient Homes. Being the first EcoBroker in Kern County, my main objective is to educate those who are interested in learning about becoming 'green.' Saving money, and creating a healthier lifestyle is something I can help you achieve. Listen to the voice of our environment. Environmental problems cannot be pushed aside any longer.
