Deanna Mukai - iProperties Hawaii

After a 20 year career in Public Relations/Marketing, including an eight year stint as Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Hawaii Association of Realtors, Deanna decided to try her hand at real estate sales and got her license in 2001. "The knowledge I gained, working for the Hawaii Association of Realtors, along with my experience in public relations and marketing has been invaluable in transitioning to a career in real estate sales." "Real estate is about building relationships. It's listening to my client's wants and needs and dreams and finding a realistic way to make it all happen. If I can exceed my client's expectation and make a lifelong friend, than that's the true reward for me." In 2009, Deanna earned the EcoBroker designation and she is committed to doing what she can to save the environment. "There are so many things we can do to reduce our energy consumption and a lot of it is in our home. I try to provide my clients information on little changes they can make, which can save them money and help save the environment. It's a win-win situation for everyone." Besides real estate and environmental causes, Deanna's other passion is jewelry making. Her jewelry pieces are sold in a few stores around town and at local craft fairs, including iProperties Hawaii's annual Christmas Craft & Bake Sale, which raises money for local charities.
