Under TRA Certification's 'Modular Program,' manufacturers are awarded the designation as a 'Certified Green Capable Manufacturer' which indicates that their materials, practices and products are compliant with sustainability standards. The individual Plants earn green certification based on performance levels derived from The National Green Building Standard (a consensus standard) and the U.S. Green Building Council's 'LEED for Homes Program' as guides. Modular Manufacturing Facilities are awarded a BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD or EMERALD certification based on performance levels in 6 categories: Resource Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, Water Efficiency, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Operation & Maintenance.
