As you read through our programs, you will find a common thread; CIS prepares, provides and packages affordable opportunities and experiences to make you a part of the world and the world a part of you. Our program locations are carefully selected to ensure that they are: interesting and easy to navigate; intellectually challenging and culturally stimulating; and, most importantly, stable and safe. Being mindful of our impact on the Earth's natural resources, CIS is committed to leading by example in integrating environmental awareness and responsibility into our daily operations and overseas programs. In our office itself, we reuse as many materials as possible, purchase office supplies from green, local sources, offset the CO2 emissions generated from the flights our students take to study abroad, and educate our students about the environment of their host country and give them volunteer options so they can help make it a greener place.
