Open Range Construction Co. (ORC) was established in 2005 by Daniel and Martine Vogel, the companys A licensed contractors. Both former teachers, Dan was the instructor for the Building Trades program at Widefield High School, teaching all facets of building to high school students. Dan and Martine are committed and involved community members and have a good working relationship with the local building officials. Dan is currently a commissioner on the Woodland Park planning board. Martine is a LEED-AP and member of the Colorado Department of Labors State Energy Sector Partnership Advisory Board. ORCs mission is to provide energy-efficient, structurally superior, sustainable structures to building owners in the Rocky Mountain Region. Open Range Construction Co. is a woman, minority owned S-Corporation located in Woodland Park, Co. Open Range Construction Co. is an A - licensed general contractor & builder. A dedicated crew of construction professionals allows ORC to self-perform much of the construction work in-house, including: footers, foundations, framing, trim work and painting. ORC fosters partnerships with owners, lenders, architects, engineers, building departments/governing entities and subcontractors in order provide a team approach necessary to the success of a project. Team collaboration ensures that projects are designed, engineered, scheduled and managed to meet the target budget and completion deadlines. ORCs projects include numerous, custom design-build projects; the completion of Honest Accurate Automotive on Tutt Blvd in Colorado Springs, a mix of Insulating Concrete forms, CMU, and Pan Deck roof; tenant-finishes and remodels of Taco Star Restaurants in Longmont, Commerce City and Colorado Springs; the tenant-finish of the Alphagraphics Store in Glendale. Other projects include the Alma International Market, a Persian Grocery Store in Englewood Colorado.
