Greater Hope Foundation

A Greater Hope's services extend to the far reaches of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, geographic areas with chronic shortages of quality foster homes and mental health services. A Greater Hope staff drive more than one million miles every year to provide vital prevention and intervention services to adult and child clients in their homes, at their schools, or in our three office locations. Greater Hope families live in remote areas such as Needles, Yucca Valley and beyond. Many organizations will not travel such great distances to serve clients, however, no child is too far and nor family turned away at Greater Hope. Reflecting Ms. Ford’s entrepreneurial spirit, the services of Greater Hope have continued to evolve to meet the needs of the community. In 2011, A Greater Hope began All Clear Live Scan, providing background checks due to a lack of providers. The following year, A Greater Hope partnered with the California Court System to provide court approved supervised visitation. To better serve the at-risk parents, A Greater Hope began offering Child Abuse Prevention Treatment Services in 2015. Since then, A Greater Hope has built a large Behavioral Health Program that provides services to foster youth, youth on probation and at-risk adults. As a result of its commitment, continued innovation and impressive client outcomes, A Greater Hope has become a leader in the social service sector, both locally and nationally. A Greater Hope currently holds the largest number of foster family homes in San Bernardino County and nearly 9,000 hours of counseling and therapy are provided in the Behavioral Health Program each year. Today, A Greater Hope continues on an impressive growth trajectory.
