Meadowlark Farm

Janie Burns has been raising grassfed lamb at Meadowlark Farm in southwest Idaho for over 20 years. In 2009, her flock of sheep was certified by AWA, verifying that the animals are raised outdoors on pasture according to the highest welfare standards. Janie is careful to match the flock size with her own ability to provide high quality pasture for her sheep, and the flock at Meadowlark Farm is maintained at one ram and about 55 ewes, producing between 80 and 100 lambs each year.
