As a graduate of the Simon Fraser University, Dr. Seema Kanwal focused on Chemistry and Biochemistry. Upon graduation, she joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Forensics Laboratory in Ottawa as a Forensic Technologist. Dr. Kanwal then pursued her career in Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario and is very excited to be practicing at Vancouver Holistic Health in Vancouver.

Dr. Kanwal practices family medicine with special interests in the areas of hormonal, auto-immune and gastrointestinal conditions, nutrition, acupuncture, and botanical therapies. She focuses primarily on prevention of disease and lifestyle modifications adding various interventions as needed. She is also certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation. Dr. Kanwal helps to empower each individual person to achieve their health goals. Her other areas of interests are diabetes, cancer, infertility and female hormonal dysfunction.
