Dr. Cham comes to A New Leaf Naturopathic Clinic with extensive experience in the conventional medical system. She earned her BA and BSN at the University of British Columbia, and began work as a registered nurse in 1999. After working in Acute Medicine, IV Therapy, and Intensive Care, Dr. Cham received appointments to teach clinical nursing for the University of British Columbia School of Nursing and for Vancouver Coastal Health. In 2005, she took an extended leave from teaching to return to school for her healing passion, naturopathic medicine.
Since graduation, Dr. Cham has pursued specialized training in prolotherapy, neural therapy, and pharmacology. Her goal is to create individualized treatment plans that support the body's natural healing potential and optimize human performance.
